Photographs that bring the people back with the place.
Considered when a little direction helps, observational when the moment is better left alone. The aim is a body of work that feels beautiful without making the wedding feel arranged for the camera.

The approach
Present enough to help. Quiet enough to let things happen.
There is room for portraits and there is room for direction. I just do not believe either needs to take you away from the wedding for longer than it earns. Most of the day is about paying attention: where the light is, who is about to react and what is happening beyond the obvious frame.
I’m based near Cheltenham in the Cotswolds, so Gloucestershire and the surrounding counties are close to home, but I photograph weddings across the UK and further afield. The place gives each day its own shape; the approach stays personal wherever it happens.
